I want to thank everybody that came to my senior art show last week.
I got an extremely positive response and it was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who left me comments in my guest book and I hope eveyone had a good time with the surplus of  wine (I know I did). Lastly, I want to thank all of the other students who presented with me. All of the work looked great and the hard work paid off. If you missed the show, don't feel bad - next week you'll be able to catch it online at The Student Art Scene website. We took video footage and pictures. AND I will be posting an extended video and more pictures of my work here on this site. So, check back soon.
The rest of the senior artists are presenting this week and Thursday is their reception. So be sure to go there too! April 15th
Last night was a busy night indeed. With the help of some friends, I constructed my Room of Revelation (part of my senior art project). To learn more about my project and the room of revelation, visit my Senior Project microsite here. I have to say that I am pretty happy with the way that everthing is turning out. My show is next week (PLEASE COME!) and then I can relax a little bit. Wait...no I can't! After the show I must quickly finish my fifty page paper and everything else I am working on. Summer, where art though?

Hello all. I have made nifty looking postcards to promote my art show. And I have many left to share...with you! If you have a burning desire to own one, then send me an email with your complete mailing address. Or leave me a message at my JoeyThunderArt myspace account here. I am sending out the postcards tomorrow, so please, give me the info tonight. I know what you are thinking: You don't need Joey to give you orders. After all, you are an adult, right? Okay fine, I have faith in you!
Also, the website that I have been working on for the Manhattanville Art Dept. should be up within the next week (hopefully). I'll keep you all updated. And the Cup o' Joe is almost ready...

Senior year is coming to an end and I am busy, busy, busy! I am involved in many art projects including founding & creating a website for a new campus club (The Student Art Scene) and my very own senior art show. The Senior Art Show starts on Tuesday April 18 and ends on Thursday, April 20. I urge everybody to come to the reception on April 20th! There will be wine, food, music and other Manhattanville art students displaying their artwork. This is going to be big! We've all worked hard for this and if you come you will be happy. And what's wrong with being happy? It's spring! Lighten up.
And if you don't really care about art, there's gonna be plenty o' wine. Boy, do us art students spoil you or what?
